Anti-Bleak is a really nice deep purple shade. The first coat was a bit thin and streaky, but the second coat evened everything out. I would say that this is an eggplant shade, a purple with red and blue undertones. I found that I definitely needed to add a topcoat to this polish, otherwise it looked a little bit flat. OPI's Top Coat is my favourite, as it adds a beautiful glossy shine, and makes my manicures last longer.
Anti-Bleak is beautiful on it's own, but I think that it creates the perfect canvas to layer glitter polishes over. I know that I want to try topping this polish off with OPI's Pink Yet Lavender, also from the Mariah Carey Collection. Anti-Bleak may not be the most unique polish on the market, but I do love purples like this. If you don't have a deep plummy purple shade in your collection already, I would check out Anti-Bleak!
How do you feel about creme polishes? Do you find them boring, a nice change of pace, or your go-to formula? Will you be picking up OPI's Anti-Bleak, or any of the other Mariah Carey polishes? :)

I really love this colour. Purple is my favourite and this is such a nice shade, I think I need it! I love creme polishes, they definitely make a nice change sometimes :) x

Purple and hot pink are probably my favourite polish shades :)
DeleteI totally agree, cremes are a really nice change from my normal shimmer/glitter nails!
What a gorgeous color! It kinda reminds me of No Spain No Gain.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's very, very similar to No Spain No Gain!
DeleteGreat colour! I have a similar one, Dim Sum Plum.

Dim Sum Plum is a very similar shade! If you have that one, you probably don't need to pick this one up :)
