I've really been loving a lot of pieces from Sephora + Pantone Universe's Elemental Energy Collection, and today I bring you my thoughts on the Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette* ($46 CAD). This palette is absolutely beautiful just to look at, but the quality is also really great!
"Elemental-inspired hues in a variety of semi-matte, shimmer, and glitter finishes create multi-dimensional eye looks. The texture of these shadows is thin and rich, providing exceptional gliding quality while the saturated color provides an intense payoff with great adherence. The palette of creamy shadows can be used to create soft, sultry, or smoky looks in colors inspired by the natural elements. Colors can be used individually or combined to create varied looks." - Sephora
The Earth shades: Rawhide has the most pigmentation in this quad of colours, but all of the shades are beautiful.
The Air shades: These shadows are quite pearly and shimmery. These shades are creamy, but they can have a bit of fallout.
The Fire shades: This is my favourite quad from the palette. Potter's Clay and Crab-Apple are absolutely beautiful, and show up very vibrantly on the eyes.
The Water shades: All four shades are quite pigmented in this quad. These shadows looks beautiful on the eyes, creating a colourful look.
These shadows look absolutely beautiful on the eyes, and they last all day long on me. I typically use a cream shadow like Maybelline's Color Tattoo's underneath to extent the wear time. This palette has a clear plastic cover with magnetic closures, just like Inglot's palettes. I love that the cover is clear, since this palette is so beautiful. The designs in each of the shadows is so unique and unlike any of my other eye shadow palettes.
